A Birthday Gift From The Talented Carole & Fun Card From Amy

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to do a quick video of the lace Angel that Carole Lassak made me for my birthday. She is so beyond talented! I had hoped the video would show the detail of the lace. Sadly it doesn't. But I hope you will get an idea of the work she put into it. Her gift card is like holding glass. I am going to have to get a frame for it. It really is a piece of artwork!

The card Amy Day made me is such a fun interactive card. I really need her to show me how she made it. I see the endless possibilities with this one.

I have so many cards I want to post. Hopefully I will get a chance to get some of them on my blog later today. I have to have the most talented friends in the world!

Well, I have a ton of thank you cards to make and lots to do around here so I must be going. :0)

As always, I wish you time to be creative but most of all time to stamp!

Back To Stamping...Life Is Good!

Well, I sure have taken a hit health wise but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Today is going to be my first day out that isn't a doctors appointment. Yeah!

I meet at Red Letter Journals in Grove City for their monthly card swap. Heather does such a great job of teaching us a new technique to stamp one card. Then the next month we come back and bring 5 cards using that technique to swap. Some people like me make more than one set so you get more cards. I'm never disappointed. Everyone is so talented! I need to check to see if they will let me post them on my blog. :0)

So here are my 3 cards I made for today. Hope you like them.

I used all Stampin Up supplies except where noted. This card is done with Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade. The stamps are from Nature Walk and Curly Cute. Wisteria Wonder Bakers Twine and Brad. I used a Sakura Clear Star pen to add some glitter to the flowers.(I wish it would have shown better on the pic)

This fun card is made with Early Espresso and Calypso Coral. The stamps used are from Reason To Smile and Wacky Wishes(love this fun new hostess set). Clear Itty Bitty Buttons tied with Early Espresso Bakers Twine. I used pop dots to lift the flowers in three different heights.

Last but not least my favorite of the three. :0)

Isn't this the cutest! I used stamps from Aviary and Tiny Tags. The colors are Early Espresso and Pool Party. The print paper is actually from the new Christmas paper pack called Festival Of Prints(who says you have to always use it for a holiday card). I used the Framelits Dies along with the Paper Piercing Pack. I love how it gives you a pattern to pierce around the layer, I think it gives it a bit of texture to the card. I used Pool Party Bakers Twine and since I punched a small hole to thread it through the spot above the birdcage, I used a small clear crystal gem from Want To Scrap to cover it. I think it makes the card.

So I hope you'll take a moment to let me know which one you like the best.

As always I wish you time to be creative but most of all time to stamp!

Finally After 18 Years!

Well, I'm going to make this a quick post. I just have been dying to post what I got from Joe Rotella, Joe Morgan and Betty Scott for my birthday.

For 18 years I have wanted flamingos for my yard. Lee would just laugh at me and tell me no way!

So by looking at the pictures you can tell they gave me SO MUCH STUFF! It was all wrapped in a big box and when I opened the box I saw lots of little packages wrapped in the same beautiful gold foil paper. I couldn't believe they got me EVERYTHING that I didn't have yet from USArtQuest! I about fell on the floor. I thought I was all done opening everything but Joe said I think there was one more package. They had it covered with packing peanuts and I hadn't seen the box. When I opened these I can't even begin to tell you how happy it made me. I can't wait til I'm up and feeling better to get them in the yard. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

I got movies and the cutest pug card I will show later. And I need to do a video to show the gift that Carole Lassak gave me. I can only tell you her talent is unsurpassed! It really needs a video to do it justice.

I want to take a quick moment to just say health issues have kept me away for the computer and just about everything else. I'm am taking it easy for a while but will be back soon.

Thank you again for all your well wishes and calls. You are the BEST friends and blog followers a person could hope for!

And thanks again to you Joe R, Joe M and Betty for making this a birthday to remember!

Till my next post...
