Testing 1,2, 3...Blog Candy

Yes Babe was right! If you know me there is always a little something more to come! This is going to serve two purposes. I am having so much trouble understanding how to post my RandomDraw.org Widget, you know the little box that shows the wining numbers. So, I am going to ask my sister-in-law who will be here this Saturday for our family game day to help me learn how to do it. That way from now on you can see the numbers drawn. And the second purpose is to give everyone who didn't win a second chance at some fun items! I really wish I could give something to everyone! :0)

So if possible I will draw on Saturday...if we get it figured out. :0) Their are 2 prizes available. Prize #1 the set from K&Co with the lovely birds. Prize #2 the Vintage Vogue papers, embellishments and little ink pads.

To win post your answer to this question on this blog post. :0)

Question:

What other hobby or hobbies do you enjoy other than card making or scrapbooking?

I look forward to your answers! And as always I wish you time to be creative and most of all time to stamp!

Till my next post...

  1. It might be easier to list the crafts that I don't do :) But--here goes with the list of crafts that I do/have done: crocheting, knitting (hand and machine), crewel, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, silk petit point, bobbin lace making, rubber stamping, beading, jewelry making, paper crafts of all sorts. Hope I didn't forget anything.

  2. OK, how much time do you have? Of course I scrapbook, make cards and other paper crafts. My other hobbies (that have taken a back seat) include counted cross stitch, latch hook, crochet, knit, read voraciously, and something that was a stamped image & I had to make french knots all over it. I also dabbled in plastic canvas, heirloom lace, needle point and even quilting (THAT was a riot!) The blog candy is quite generous and comely. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies.

  3. Let's see, I have to agree with Carol above, it would be easier to list what I don't do... but here goes: rubber stamping, painting, crochet/knitting, cooking, baking, canning, photography, reading and collecting (recipes), traveling, crossword puzzles, and SHOPPING!!!

Great blog candy, Shirley - love KC Comp. and Vintage!

    Thanks again!

  5. Besides card-making and scrapbooking, I just love to read! It is probably my biggest hobby and started when I was just a kid. There is nothing better

  6. Oh, Shirley, great blog candy again! Answering you question, I like to crochet. I try to make two afghans a winter. I like woodcrafts but they don't seem to be as popular as sometime ago. My main focus now is papercrafting, and I love it. Besides the actual crafts, I like to study the bible. I study with a TV minister and have learned so much over the years. So, there you have it!

  7. I love to read. It calms my busy mind before sleep every night. I like to cook, baking more than anything else. I used to cross stitch before scrapbooking and kids. When I was a teenager I did crochet, knitting, and some embroidery. There was a brief fling with quilling and calligraphy. I collect cookbooks. I like to travel. And I like to pester Jeanne!

  8. I enjoy sewing. I have been sewing more lately than in the past. I enjoy reading (Debbie Macommber, Danielle Steele,Ferne Nichaels) every summer I take part int he PC library reading program, playing cards like Euchre, Pinnochle, hearts, and rummy. I play them alot with computers these days instead of people. I learned how to play euchre at age 11 from my Mom's side of the family. Miss that part of my young life a lot. Grandma would aleays a group of us over to her house and we would play cards. Grandma would say get one of your cousins to stay with you . Enjoyable times. I like to travel like Paula does, some times we are together taking our Girl Scout troop somewhere or we are off to one of our scrapbook weekends witch I enjoy a lot.I enjoy being our around my wonderful, loving, beautiful lady friends. You all know who you are, Love you . DianeM

  10. I enjoy photography, reading, swimming, I am an avid sports-spectator and when I was a bit younger, played a variety of sports. If I had more time, I would like to sew and learn how to quilt and crochet.

  16. I also like to crochet and paint. The older I get the harder it is to crochet. I have also scrapbook for family members. It is so much fun to help them put pictures together for albums and get first hand stories on what, when and where things happened in our big family. Batia

  17. Ole my! You really should stop giving away so many wonderful items. I would much rather see you provide a calm island of designs that we could all escape to from this world of constant pace and want. Keep some things for your closest friends.
